Agile Methodologies
Agile methodologies are at the heart of agile transformation, development and test practices. There are various methodologies that companies adapt as per their needs and there’s really no “one size fits all”. Tiva has developed breadth in agile methodologies, whether it is Scrum or Kanban to reach out to a wide range of customer use cases for agile. The bottom line of an agile methodology and its application is to deliver agility in IT and engineering that in turn deliver distinct and measurable business agility.
Kanban
Kanban is a popular framework used by software teams practicing agile software development. It is enormously prominent among today’s agile software teams, but the kanban methodology of work dates back more than 50 years.
Scrum
Scrum is a subset of agile. It is a lightweight process framework for agile development, and the most widely-used one among the high-tech and innovative product development industries.
Lean
Lean comes from Lean Manufacturing and is a set of principles for achieving quality, speed & customer alignment (same as what we’re trying to do with agile development, right?).
XP
XP is short for eXtreme Programming, a framework which focuses heavily on ensuring the quality of delivered software and which prescribes engineering solutions towards that end.
